1173 A pair of 19th century gilt Louis XVI style chairs

A very fine pair of 19th century gilt Louis XVI style chairs in the manner of G.Jacob. The 18th century chairs by Jacob were in St Cloud-these chairs could have possibly been carved by Paul Sormani- the great 19th century maker who was known for the fine work that is represented by these chairs. The bottom undersides have not been examined for a signature.
