1047 19th C. Austrian Center Table

A very rare and important 19th Century Austrian Aesthetic movement, Rosewood, Satinwood, Ebony, Walnut and Mahogany center table. Attributed to Michel Thornet, the shaped circular top, which tilts, veneered with a parquetry design. The table is raised on an elaborately carved "Bentwood Trefoil" base upon casters.
